Event Description

Making Bipartisanship Work

Whitman University Professor Dale Soden will be speaking about the nature and history of bipartisanship in the US, discussing when and why it has worked in the past, with an eye towards exploring how we might create a less divisive political environment today. Dr. Soden's presentation will be followed by a period for questions and discussion. This event is sponsored by People for Effective Government, a Spokane-based organization focused on promoting bipartisanship and civil political discourse.
