Here's our entire interview with Republican congressional candidate Jered Bonneau.

Here's our full interview with Jered Bonneau.

This year, Washington Republican Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers will face a challenge for her seat from Democrat Lisa Brown. But before she can get to that race, she has one other hurdle to cross. She must defeat a fellow Republican for the nomination in the August primary. That Republican is Jered Bonneau (bo-NAY). He’s a 31-year-old mental health aide at Eastern State Hospital.

In a message on his GoFundMe page, Bonneau says the people want “momentous change and someone who will use the office to bring honest, constitutional politics back to Washington and America.”

During our half-hour interview, we talk about Bonneau’s views on a few issues, about the strong rhetoric he uses on his Twitter account and about his past. That past includes a stint nearly 10 years ago serving as a member of a local militia. At the end, when I asked him if there was anything else he wanted to talk about, he went back to his past.
