January Membership Drawing: BachFest Tickets

SPR's drawing for January will be for two pairs of tickets to each of the six concerts for the 40th Annual Northwest Bach Festival!

Everyone making a pledge of support to Spokane Public Radio by January 26th is entered into TWO DRAWINGS.

Artistic Director Zuill Bailey has designed a series of classics concerts for the 40th Anniversary celebration of the Northwest Bach Festival: 




  • The Festival Opening Concert with the Ying String Quartet and Zuill Bailey, Wednesday, February 27, Barrister Winery at 7:30 pm. 


  • Bach and Schumann are on the program Friday, March 2 at The Hamilton Studio, 7:30 pm with the Ying String Quartet and Zuill Bailey. 


  • Classic Concerts continue with pieces by Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms Sunday, March 4,  3pm,  Barrister Winery  with the Ying String Quartet, Zuill Bailey, cello and David Armstrong, viola. 


  • The West Coast premiere of a Laszlo Varga arrangement of Don Quixote by Richard Strauss will be featured,  Monday, March 5, Barrister Winery at 7:30 pm. 


  • Friday Night at Barrister with pianist Matt Hershowitz playing pieces from Gottschalk to Gershwin with Clay Phillips, clarinet and Zuill Bailey, cello March 9, 7:30 pm. 


  • Festival Classics will conclude with a Grand Finale Concert Sunday, March 11, St. John's Cathedral at 3 pm.
