Spring Is (Finally) Here... And So Is The Pledge Drive

After the long winter, the spring weather has been a nice change of pace.  The birds have been out singing, the April showers will definitely be bringing May flowers, and the membership department has been hard at work keeping SPR on track to meet our fundraising goals. As we kick off our Spring 2017 pledge drive, consider making a gift to support public radio.  This is your chance to Stand with SPR and ensure your favorite programs have a radio home.

For this first morning, Steve is joined by Jim Armstrong and Maggie Crabtree

Barbara answers a pledge call from a listener enjoying the banter.

Brian Flick keeps Jim, Maggie, and Steve on track in the mornings. Here he is posing for the camera through the window.

8am rolled around and we split back off into multiple streams. Starting the morning on KSFC are John Vlahovich and Don Hamilton talking about On Point.
Voice teacher Nancy Klingman brought some of her favorite artists along to entice classical music lovers to pledge. KPBX is proud to include a variety of music on the air.

A big thanks to Garland Sandwich Shoppe for the delicious lunch!

Verne and Leon talk guitar and so much more

The lines filled up several times this morning, causing staff to run in and take calls as well. Thanks for those pledges!

Between breaks, Janean and John had a great time this morning in KSFC.

The afternoon is off to a great start with Jim and Dee

Check back here throughout the day for photos from inside the pledge drive.
