From the Studio: The Modern Theater Presents "The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical"

Cast members from The Modern Theater - Coeur d'Alene stopped by the studio to chat with Verne today about their upcoming production of "The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical." Director Brooke Bassett as well as singers/actors Charisa Bareither, Amber Fielder, Callie Cabe, and Shawn Hunt talked about the show as well as performed a few musical numbers for us.  "The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical" opens this Friday, November 27th at 7:30pm in Coeur d'Alene and runs through Sunday, December 20th.

Verne Windham got his start at Spokane Public Radio 20 years ago. “I came in to complain and they hired me.” He’s now the Program Director, as well as the host of Morning Classical and Concert of the Week. When choosing music for Morning Classical, Verne likes to keep the agenda as broadly defined as possible. For Concert of the Week, he focuses on the best of recent local performances, mostly classical in nature. For many years, Verne was also the conductor of the Spokane Youth Orchestra. He enjoys gardening, his vintage car and playing French horn.
