Anti-abortion groups are calling for an investigation into Planned Parenthood, and now, state and federal lawmakers are getting involved.

Planned Parenthood is accused of illegally selling tissue from aborted fetuses. The allegations came from an undercover video.

The video appeared to show a Planned Parenthood medical director discussing prices. The organization said the video was heavily edited and distorted. But it has still spawned investigation efforts.

Anti-abortion groups have been calling on Congress to investigate the organization. And in the Northwest, a group of more than 30 Republican legislators in Washington state signed on to a letter calling for a statewide investigation.

Governor Jay Inslee in a statement said he stands with Planned Parenthood.

In Oregon and Idaho, some lawmakers have weighed-in, but Washington is so far the only Northwest state with its own proposed investigation.
