Verne was joined in the studio this morning by cellist Lynn Harrell.

Harrell will be joining the Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra for a concert tonight (October 16, 2017 at 7:30pm) featuring Dvorak and Lalo at the Fox. More info here.

The final day of Symphony Week at Spokane Public Radio includes conversations with Symphony Conductor Eckart Preu, Mateusz Wolski and guests Jessica Lee and Peter Stumpf. 

Cellist and composer Paul Wiancko, along with violist Ayana Kozasa spoke with Verne this morning about his composition "American Haiku."

Cellist John Marshall joined Verne in the studio this morning to talk about CELLObration Spokane 2017.  On January 7, more than 40 cellos will perform the music of Bach and the Beatles at the EWU Music Building Recital Hall.  The free concert begins at 7:30. Cello Soloist, Amit Peled will be performing with the Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Kevin Hekmatpanah, on Tuesday evening, December 6, at 7:30 p.m. , at the Martin Woldson Theater At the Fox.

This morning, Mr. Peled spoke with Verne Windham during the Morning Classical program about the program, and about performing with a student orchestra.
