SPR and Friends of the Bing presented Stanley Kubrick's classic science-fiction film 2001 on June 17 as part of the SPR Goes to the Movies series.

The Inland Northwest has rocked out to Tim "Too Slim" Langford's edgy blues for almost three decades. The rest of the world has discovered this band originally from Spokane, but Tim is still happy to come back with a special benefit concert for Spokane Public Radio. Langford's group, "Too Slim and the Taildraggers," performed a mix of acoustic blues at the Bing on Thursday, June 11.

NPR political commentator and best-selling author Cokie Roberts returned to Spokane's Bing Crosby Theater on May 14, 2015 with the latest chapter in her series on women in our nation's history.

Musicfest Northwest has spent the last 70 years celebrating the students of classical music and ballet. KPBX was proud to feature many 2015 participants  on the radio.
