The Actors' Buddhio will present a staged reading of "The Normal Heart," by Larry Kramer, directed by Diana Trotter, this weekend. Cast members, Melody Deatherage and Chris Jensen spoke with Verne this morning about the history of the play, as well as the current social significance.

There will be a staged reading of "A Bright Room Called Day," at South Perry Yoga this Friday and Saturday, with proceeds benefiting the Odyssey Youth Movement.

  2015-16 Resident Playright Matt Harget's romantic comedy "Maybe Baby" opens this weekend at The Modern Theater, Coeur d'Alene. Mr. Harget and Modern Theater's Artistic Director, George Green spoke with Verne this morning about the process of bringing this work to the stage, through workshops and talk backs  over the last year.  Cowboy Supper Shows are happening every month this summer, during the last full weekend of the month, at the Rockin B Ranch on the state line, in Liberty Lake. The cast stopped by this morning to perform a sample of their show and talk about the theater.

Erin Fitzgerald talks about the play My Name Is Rachel Corrie​ based on the writings of the Olympia, Washington born activist who died defending a Palestinian home in 2003. The play will be presented on March 2 and Gonzaga University's Magnuson Theater at 7 p.m.
