During the month of August the Liberty Gallery features paintings by artist Lauren Urlacher of her favorite flower, the dahlia. Her hyper-realistic floral paintings invite viewers into a tranquil moment of stillness. In a fast-paced world, Lauren’s art offers a calming pause, encouraging mindfulness through close observation of nature’s intricate details. Her August show titled “Dahlia Days of Summer” celebrates the peak season of dahlias in Spokane when we see the biggest and best of these blooms.
Stop by the Historic Liberty Building to meet the artist on August 1st from 5-8:30 pm.
