Today we were visited by members of the Gonzaga Theatre and Dance Department in anticipation of their production opening "Book of Hours." This performance is inspired by the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke, one of the most famous poets of the early 20th century. Students at Gonzaga are reinterpreting his literary art by means of performance art. Verne chatted with director Charlie Pepiton and students Elizabeth Spindler, Jaron Fuglie, and Briar Burt.
"Book of Hours" opens tonight, February 5th starting at 7:30pm at the Magnuson Theatre. Subsequent performances will be February 6th at 7:30pm, February 7th at 2:00pm, February 12th at 7:30pm, and February 13th at 2:00pm.
