Anticipating the festivities to come next week, Verne invited musicians to visit the studio from Opera Coeurd'Alene's upcoming production of Puccini's famous opera La Bohème. Singers Elizabeth Caballero, Mark Walters, and Eric Margiore were joined by pianist Juliana Witt and directors Aaron St. Clair Nicholson and Eckart Preu to talk about the opera as well as perform a couple arias/duets for us. This performance of La Bohème is a joint production between Opera CDA and the Spokane Symphony, and it is the symphony's featured work for the fourth concert in their Classics series. This will be La Bohème as you've never seen it and will require creative staging between the singers and orchestra due to the small nature of the pit at the Fox theater.
Performances of La Bohème will be on Saturday, November 21st at 8:00pm and Sunday, November 22nd at 3:00pm at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox.
