SFCC Drama Department

The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls has opened at SFCC's Spartan Theatre, and will run through November 19, as part of the "Coming Home" season. Drama program director Ashley DeMoville and adjunct faculty/master carpenter, Chris Hansen stopped by this morning to talk about the show and about the Drama Fine Arts Degree offered at Spokane Falls Community College.

 

Spokane Falls Community College Drama Deparatmetn will presents The Arsonists, a dark comedy by Max Frisch opening May 25, 2017 at 7:30pm at the Spartan Theatre. This morning director Sara Edlin-Marlowe and chorus leaderTamara Schupman joined Verne in the studio to talk about the production which will run Thursdays through Sundays May 25 - June 4. 

This is Theater Preview Week at Spokane Public Radio. This morning, Verne spoke with college instructors and professors about the upcoming seasons at Spokane Community Colleges, Gonzaga University, Whitworth University, and Eastern Washington University.     

The Spokane Falls Community College drama department will be presenting  a famous literary masterwork--The Crucible--this weekend and next weekend at the Spartan Theatre on campus.  Arthur Miller wrote the play itself, and this particular production is directed by Josephine Keefe.  She was joined in the studio by her sister Julia Keefe and actors Scott Worby and Mikyla Bordner.
